Jill Holtzman-Vogel is practically a caricature of a Bush Republican. She is the apotheosis of the modern Conservative Republican movement in Virginia, which makes her the wrong representative for Virginia's 27th district.
- Jill Holzman-Vogel cut her teeth in politics by supressing votes in Pennsylvania and defending the otherwise indefensible acts of the RNC.
- She suborned Loudoun's Commonwealth's Attorney Jim Plowman to defeat her primary opponent
- Her father, who runs a local oil company paid for most of her campaign.
- She has refused to debate her opponent, even though she's running for a legislative office, the job description of which is debate and discussion in an elected body.
- "Moderate" Republicans have come out to endorse her Democratic opponent, Karen Schultz
- And her personal solution to the traffic problems in northern Virginia was to buy a million-dollar condo closer to work, as well as her home in the District. Not exactly a feasible solution for her would-be constituents.
The Republican Party of Virginia feels that it has the God-given right to rule over Virginia's voters. Jill Holtzman-Vogel's campaign is the seminal example of this philosophy. In our democracy, however, it is the voters who have the right to rule, and their will shall be heard on Tuesday.

She missed ONE debate...BIG DEAL!!! She was in 18 debates...does that count for anything?
It absolutely counts. My compliments for attending the vast majority of debates.
The issue is that she skipped the debate in a wider attempt by the local Republican party to smear the LWV as being biased. And that was unacceptable.
