Jill Holtzman-Vogel - The Bush Republican

Jill Holtzman-Vogel is practically a caricature of a Bush Republican. She is the apotheosis of the modern Conservative Republican movement in Virginia, which makes her the wrong representative for Virginia's 27th district.

At every turn, when given the opportunity to do what was right, or what was expedient, Jill Holtzman-Vogel chose the expedient route. When faced with adversity, she throws blame and falls back on the power of her father and family connections. When asked to simply face the voters in a debated she refused, as if to say that Virginians owed her this office, and she was doing them a favor by running.

The Republican Party of Virginia feels that it has the God-given right to rule over Virginia's voters. Jill Holtzman-Vogel's campaign is the seminal example of this philosophy. In our democracy, however, it is the voters who have the right to rule, and their will shall be heard on Tuesday.

She missed ONE debate...BIG DEAL!!! She was in 18 debates...does that count for anything?

It absolutely counts. My compliments for attending the vast majority of debates.

The issue is that she skipped the debate in a wider attempt by the local Republican party to smear the LWV as being biased. And that was unacceptable.
